Before you write

  • ✓Open the destination URL directly in a browser to confirm it works.
  • ✓Check whether the short link has expiration, password protection, or a safety block.
  • ✓Confirm your link limit if you are using the Free plan.
  • ✓For API requests, verify the `Authorization: Bearer` header and that API access is enabled.

Common issues

Why is my short link not redirecting?

Make sure the destination starts with http or https, is public, and was not blocked by safety validation.

Why did my dashboard stop creating links?

The Free plan allows up to 10 permanent saved links. Upgrade from Billing or delete an existing link to keep creating.

Where do I manage API keys?

Pro users can create and revoke API keys from the API page in the dashboard. Developer docs cover authentication, examples, and error handling.

Can I use custom domains and custom slugs?

Yes. Custom domains, custom slugs, and API access are available on Pro. Plus focuses on advanced dashboard features.
